Playing Cards
My family played lots of card games when I was growing up, and sometimes, certain family members' turns seemed to drag on (hi Mom!). This deck of cards is a direct response to that experience — if you’re feeling restless in your group game, simply turn your attention to the other game in your hand.

In a jigsaw puzzle, a puzzle piece’s four sides interlock with other pieces through tabs and blanks. In these cards, a tile’s four sides show one half of a single symbol (spade, heart, diamond, or club), and that half-symbol matches up with another half-symbol on the adjacent tile. The meeting of the wrong halves generates a new, unfamiliar shape, and the meeting of the right halves creates a magical union that yields a complete symbol.
